Squier by Fender are some cheap guitars, they're like 120 bucks.
Also theres a good Dean for 79 bucks in guitar center. A Dean Evo XM for 119.
Also try some Epiphone, there are some cheap and good, long lasting guitars.
But you should go to your music shop and try some guitars, cause you may not like the Stratocaster or Les Paul desing, I personally like Flying V s.
The low end fender stuff is decent. Just check out your local guitar shop.

id suggest a very versitile one that is resonably priced is a mexican made fender strat about 400. good quaility good price.
