Does this annoy anyone else?!
Question: I understand when someone asks what a certain song is, there will be 4 or 5 people who tell the name of the song and the artist, and then EVERY TIME someone will copy and paste the entire lyrics as an answer. Like the questioner can't look it up themselves. I know it's just an attempt to be helpful, and probably an attempt to convince the questioner to give them best answer. It just gets on my nerves. Am I alone here?

First of all Michael G is acting like a jerk, and SO ARE YOU something strange for asking STUPID QUESTIONS. I WANT TO RUN UP THE INTERSTATE BUTT NAKED SCREAMING THE LYRICS TO THRILLER, BUT SOMEONE WOULD COPY AND PASTE THEM ON HERE AND YOU WOULD HARASS THE PISS OUT OF ME. it is kinda annoying but its ok when people just copy a stanza and not the whole thing it bugs other people but other people just didnt take the time to complain.

It doesnt bother me a bit, I think they are being helpful. Thats what yahoo answers is about to be helpful in every way you can. I dont care about how many points I get, I just like to help. So If giving them the lyrics helps out then great. Most people wouldnt ask the question anyways if they knew it. So i think giving them the lyrics gives them a better description if thats what they wanted.
Either way its doesnt matter, people are all about the damn points anyways!

Yes, it bothers me. Plus, it's a violation of copyright laws. You need the copyright owners' permission to reprint lyrics.
The way the music industry people are suing grandmothers currently, I wouldn't post song lyrics in their entirety for all the gold in Ft. Knox!
I think they are just trying to get best answer. I usually just post the answer, unless they specifially ask for lyrics. Sometimes I just pass up the question entirely because 10 people already answered it.
