Is epiphone like squier or is epiphone a really good brand?!
Question: No epiphone is not liek squier in different ways,But epiphone is the base brand of Gibson like how squier is the base brand of fender...Actually before Epiphone is one of the main competitors against Gibson in the guitar world.But after sometime Gibson bought the Epiphone company.
Epiphone is also known for their Arched Top guitar heads.Epiphone also had good guitars on their known before going under Gibson.
If you have the money and your deciding to buy an Epiphone or squier, A Epiphone is better quality and plus their almots 3x less the price of Gibson guitars.(Like if your buying a les paul).

Epiphone is a good brand. A Squire strat is a lower model Fender strat and Epiphone is esentially the same with the lower model of the Gibon SG and Les Paul. Epiphone is still an excellent brand.
squier is the less expensive version of a fender, and the epiphone is the same for gibson. In my opinion Epiphones are much better... they are actually really good guitars, and if u get one and eventually upgrade the pick-ups you basically have a gibson. I recommend the les paul versions of course.
It all depends and which one your playing. but generally i dont go near em, I tend to play Gibsons, fenders and the occasional Gretsch guitar
