You've chosen a person who is decent and a person who is clearly not a rapper. Nelly attempts to rap, but in reality he is just singing his verses, add a more mainstream appeal and it is evident that Nelly's genre of music is more club-based, meaning that it doesn't matter what you say on the song as long as the beat is hot.
Fat Joe can rap, but again he is nothing to put in your Top 10 list.

Joey Crack! Come on you guys are being to harsh on him.....I remember back when he was a beast with Pun....then he really fell off lyrically after Pun died (RIP)...I guess Pun brought out the best in him because he didnt want to come weak when Pun was destroying everything back in the late 90s.....To me Nelly is a talented artist....but he isnt a rapper....he sings his lyrics.....there fore even if I didnt like Joe Id have to give it to him by default because I havent heard Nelly rap to anything with out trying to incorporate melodys which is something rappers dont do (unless they are laying down a hook or a bridge or something)
