Hardcore Vocals... how long can i not rehurs without losing it?!
Question: i mean i have to take breaks 1-2 week's in evry 2-3 months ( i'm a student and...i have to visit my grandmother )
would this break be ok ( i mean will my voice sound as good as it sounds now , after i take the time off )

well i sing for a metal band and i had to stop for about two months cuz our drummer got put in jail. the first practice when he got out i sounded like shlt but after that practice i picked it up right away. i gotta tell you though i think that is because i didnt practice at all for those couple months.
but the person above me is right you dont really lose it. it will take a lil bit to get back where you were but once you got something like that down you never really lose it.
Nobody ever really loses it, they just need a bit of fine tuning, keep practising your chords etc., and sing along to the music that you listen to, all of this will help you, goodluck!
