I think Kisschasy is great, they are Australian so not too well known in the states as far as I know. They are working on their third album now and are planning a US tour in Summer 08 I think :)
the duke spirit, the perishers, badly drawn boy, hot chip, nada surf, hotel lights, the airborne toxic event, the teenagers(uhm maybe not them...depends on your age, but mostly the lyrics are just funny), last november,

This Providence if you like poppy emo stuff.
AFI is the best band ever but they're kind of old. My fav album from them is Sing the Sorrow. Most fans say their best album is Black Sails in the Sunset.
The Academy Is... is pretty good. They're sort of popish but a little more rock oriented than normal emo pop bands.
If you like indie, check out Death Cab for Cutie. I don't like them much but my friends say they're good.

well, they aren't new, but they are awesome. I don't know if you have heard of em, but the Mars Volta are one of the best rock bands ever.
