No ones voice sounds 'ugly'. However some can sing and some can not. I am a massive CAN NOT but that does not stop me howling away for my own pleasure around the house.
Whilst Simon Cowell may have some criticisms about your voice you are miles ahead of me so I can't knock it.
If you feel it is ugly and want to improve what about singing lessons?
Sing your heart out, enjoy your music and as long as you are not disturbing anyone who cares what anyone thinks!
