Reading music? click!!?!
Question: Hi! Well, I'm in a school band, and have been chosen for an honors band. I get to go be in a concert with more people that are a little more advanced than the school band. Since only five people out of our school are chosen, I don't have many to ask.
So, in reading music notes, where eighth notes are linked by one bar across the top/bottom, and sixteenth notes are links by two bars across the top/bottom, when there are three bars linking the notes, what type is it? (as in, is it a 32nd note, so on and on)
I also need to know how to count these notes as well. Any help is appreciated.
-I know I already posted this, but I need answers! I'm not getting any at all, so please, help me out!

There really isn't a standard way to count 32nd notes, like "1 uh and and uh 2 uh and uh 3 uh and uh..." for 16th notes.
People usually make up something that works for them. I've even seen someone go, "1 ger-man au-to make-er 2 ger-man au-to make-er"!
yes it continues on with the # the 3 bars is also known as 30 second notes you shouldn't have to play that fast but that is what it is then 1 step from that is 60 second notes but you won't hear throws to often also how to count the music is like change a note is 1 dollar it is 1 beat. say one out loud normally that is 1 beat then you cut that is half for 8ths and that in half for 16th so 2 8th notes = 1 beat got it have fun
for each bar on a note you take the previous number and times it by 2.
for example, 1 bar = 8th note 2 bars = 16th note, 3 bars = 32nd note
and as for counting when you count regular beats you say: 1, 2, 3, 4 but when using these eighth notes you say: 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and, its kind of hard to explain. but hopefully this could get you started.
