Wiring problem in Bass Cabinet?!

Question: I've checked out all the speakers, non are blown, but when playing it tends to make a cracking noise. This is a Peavey 4x10 cab. Always worked well, what might be the problem.

Well maybe its from the loud stomping. My brother once stomped so loud it blew out my karaoke machine speakers and we would jam on that thing all the time at high volumes. So its probably all the stomping. Check into it. Your band might want to purchase some rubber-cork flooring to help with the wild stompers.

10" speakers are too small for bass at loud volumes. Is the amp built in to the cab? Is there a baffel duct to let out the low frequency tones? It could be anything. Good luck.
