Should i use fast fret on my Gibson guitar??!
Question: i use it on the epiphone i have, b/c i dont care about it too much. will fast fret damage a Gibson? it didnt damage my epiphone (yet), but i am not familiar with gibsons at the moment.

"These products are just some enterprising folks way to get you to pay for a slighty damp soft rag."
While I doubt any of them will "hurt" your rig, it will lighten your wallet.

Fast Fret is just oil, not sure if it's vegetable or mineral though. I've used it on my guitars for a long time with no negative effects. If you're really worried about it possibly affecting your guitar, put it on before you play and wipe it off afterwards.
I've left it on my strings, I've purposely put more on after I play, no big deal. I like the slick feel it gives my fingers, it makes it easier to slide 'em around.
I haven't used too many other products - although I've heard good things about Guitar Honey. Haven't tried Stringfellow or head about it.

I've been using Fast Fret on my guitars and basses for several years. I've never experienced any undesirable effect on a fretboard or any other part of the instrument; it does help to keep the strings (roundwounds especially) feeling clean and just slick enough to facilitate riffs, especially as you're warming up.
it won't hurt it .. i use it on my ESP all the time
