Question: i saw some bands the other night and i was just pissing myself watching these scene kids trying to have a pit. they were just kind of gently pushing into each other.

I think that moshing in general look funny. But when you have scene kids who are just there for the fashion trying to pretend to be so "hardcore", now that is entertainment.
Reading your question brought it home to me just how old I am. I haven't a clue what you are asking! I don't know what scene kids are, what moshing is or what it is to have a pit!
Oh well - at least I've heard of it now, even if I've no idea what it means!
I just think the whole moshing thing is stupid. Not the headbanging (but that is actually very health endangering anyway) but when people attack each other type of moshing. It's retarded!
I agree. I watched some scene kids start a pit. I laughed so hard. A guy pushed another guy over, then a girl kicked him so he kicked her, then they hugged. It was so very feeble I had to laugh. But hey, atleast they didn't smudge their guyliner or rip their skinny jeans. I can't cope when scene kids cry, I would have died of laughter.
