Looking for SONG quoted in the book "Night Watch" by russian author Se!
Question: The specific song may actually be in russian but all I have are the lyrics in english.
"It was a small town, no bigger than a child's toy,
There'd been no plagues or invasions there since long ago,
The cannon rusted in silence on its fortress tower,
And the traveler's roads passed it by.
And so year after year, no holidays or working days-
The whole town slept,
Dreaming dreams of lands with empty cities
And dread cliffs..."
I am hoping someone out there (probably from Russian) can help me find the name of the band who wrote this, and/or the title of the song.
Thanks

The song is by the Russian rock group Voskresenie (Воскресение) (meaning ressurection or revival). The title of the song is Gorodok (Городок), which means town. There's a short English-language article about the group on Wikipedia(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voskreseniy... Hope this helps!
