Recommend Classical Mystery?!
Question: Im in need of some classical music that you could put behind a mystery movie/play (ie Clue, Pink Panther, etc). Not so much a mellow piece thats "mysterious", but a more upbeat, exciting piece.
Sorry to be so Vague
Thanks!!!

apocalyptic dreams-david gillingham
it's 17 min. by composer David Gillingham long, the beginning is mysterious, then it gets into a suspenseful......it's so hard to explain but look it up it's a really good symphonic piece, hopefully what you are looking for.
A good mystery has varied pacing - slower investigative parts, high-energy chases, a dramatic climax between detective and culprit, etc. So I would recommend a series of smaller pieces that have some common element (Mozart's piano sonatas come to mind)
Night on Bald Mountain: Moussorgsy
Danse Macabre: Saint-Saens
