Who is the composer and what is the name of one or two piano pieces just for the!

Question: Is it Ravel?

Answers: Is it Ravel?

There are quite a few:

Arnold Bax - Left Hand Concertante (for Harriet Cohen)
Britten - Diversions on a Theme for Piano (left hand) and Orchestra Op 21 (for Paul Wittgenstein)
Janá?ek - Capriccio (for Otokar Hollman)
Korngold - Concerto in C-sharp (for Paul Wittgenstein)
Martin? - Diversions for Piano (left hand) and Orchestra (for Otokar Hollman)
Prokofiev - Concerto No 4 in B flat Op 53 (for Paul Wittgenstein)
Ravel - Concerto in D for the Left Hand (for Paul Wittgenstein)
Franz Schmidt - PIano Concertos 1 & 2; Piano Quintet; 2 Clarinet Quintets (all for Paul Wittgenstein)

As you will see, most of these are for the pianist Paul Wittgenstein who, remarkably lost his right arm during the First World War and carved out a niche career for himself, commissioning works from the leading composers of the day. Otokar Hollman was similarly wounded in the same war. The work written by Bax for Harriet Cohen was for her to play after an illness prevented her from using her right arm.

Edit:
I am loth to correct my knowledgeable colleagues above but the Ravel Concerto in G major is the two-hand concerto. It is the one in D major - a completely seprarate work - which is the left-hand concerto.

Ravel - Piano Concerto in G for the left hand alone

Ravel composed a piano concerto in D *editted for Del and me. Again, still a lot to learn here.* for left hand for his friend who lost a hand in the war.

Has anyone mentioned Scriabin (for instance, prelude op. 9 nr. 1)? Just in case that's who you're looking for.
