Please dont get it confused with hip hop. now a days its hip pop. these so called rappers would never have been on the radio or heard of when hip hop was at its zenith. their lyrics and gimmick are so the opposite of hiphop.hip hop is when everyone goes right you would go left. to many rappers sound a like and rap about stupid irrelevant stuff that doesnt send a message. you still have some great MC's not rappers like az,nas, jay, mos,common,gza,cube,outkast, mobb deep. its just the wrong people got in the game (thugs) and corrupted the thing.
it is going down the drain it will fade out eventually b/c they've rapped about evrythin that they possibly can rap about so soon they will run out of ideas then it will lose money then they will quit rapping
