Scott is no longer in the band, sadly
Scott is not in the band because, he was starting to turn into what Axl Rose turned into, which is an a**hole. Scott was getting into fights with fans in the crowds, their fans, who would want to go see them play after that. Slash simply put it " Me, Duff, and Matt have tried to forget the past, so we don't need to relive it". So thats the way this story ends, SADLY.
sadly and gladly scott went back to STP but i heard it went to rehab AGAIN before they played and real shows. but they'll come back thats what bands do.
Wikipedia--unreliable at times, admittedly--says Weiland is rejoining the band for a May 2008 performance in Columbus, Ohio.
They're still together except they just need a new singer.
STP was a much better band tha VR. guess theyre still together, they'll just plug in another singer
