Answers:
When you hear yourself singing, a lot of what you're hearing is vibration through your facial bones, rather than sound coming out your mouth and going into your ears!. Therefore, even with the best recording equipment in the world, you'll never sound the same on a recording than you do in your own head!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Some of it could be crappy recording devices, like people above me said, and some of it is just that your own voice sounds different to you than to other people!. You are hearing it inside your own head, and others are hearing it projected!. For example, I think that I have a very individual voice from my sister, yet when it is recorded, it sounds simply like a slightly deeper version of her (I'm an alto, she's a soprano)!. Even though we think we sound very different, every one gets our voices mixed up, including my mom!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
That is because you are not using the appropriate equipment or mics to record yourself!. You should get some nice recording software and buy a condenser mic for the best recording experience!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
