Question: What band from the '70s can put on the best sounding show now!?

Well, though they technically formed in the late 60's, I would say that Iggy Pop and the Stooges put on a great show to this day!. I saw them twice- once in 2003 and once again the following year, and they blew me away both times!. Iggy continues to have the energy of someone a fraction his age, and the band was in top form as well!. My only regret was that they only performed songs from the first two albums (their self-titled debut, and "Funhouse")!. While they're both great, "Raw Power", their third and final studio album (prior to last year's mediocre "The Weirdness", anyway) is even better IMHO!. However I understand that personnel changes and inner turmoil within the band during that time lead to it being a sore subject with the Asheton brothers!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Not to boast or anything but,having seen well over 300 shows beginning in 76 to the present, I would really have to say that i was quite impressed with Boz Scaggs complete overall sound,a great show back a few years ago!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
the rolling stones! and if you haven't been to a live show you cannot judge! 450 million dollars on 1 tour!.!. case closed!!!!!!!!!!! rush is good also, but who headlined sarstock!? you guessed it (stones) also, sold out every venue!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I am going with Judas Priest!. I also saw Black Sabbath last year (DIO) Heaven & Hell tour; and I was blown away!. Incredible show!. In all fairness I have never seen Yes live!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
