Your problem is that you are to close minded!. If you study up on any great musician you will find they had all kinds of musical influences including music that is slower or faster than what they may usually play!. Elect the Dead is one of those songs that shows Serj's musicianship!. Any true music fan appreciates all types of music in some fashion!. Not just the harder death metal that is all gloom and doom!. Or vice versa!. I appreciate all types of music from old jazz in the 50's to Metallica, SOAD, Cold play, Pink Floyd, RUSH, Queens of the stone age, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, ECT!.!.!.!.!.!.
