Guitar trouble?!
Question: Guitar trouble!?
i just got a new guitar!. it's a laguna, and about $200!. When strum any string on the first, second, or third fret, it sounds terrible and muted!. I know that I am doing everything right, so I think there might be a problem with the guitar!. I don't want to pay some guy at a music store for something I could easily fix, so I need some help!. If the problem is easily fixable, please tell me how I can do so!. Thanks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

if you are pressing notes on the 1st 2nd and 3rd frets and its totally muted and not even "buzzing" its bad dude!. it means that the strings/notes aren't getting any relief off the frets whatsoever for sustain!. sounds like the action is too low, like way too low!. its a $200 guitar which means if you brought it right home after you bought it, it most likely has issues!. if you are a beginner take it to a guitar tech (anywhere but guitar center if possible they are expensive) and have him look it over!. most guitar you get at the guitar store for $200 are probably going to have a couple defects but they can be modified for better playing but don't expect perfect!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
