What does the korean band g.o.d stand for?!

from hearing about them for a long time ( or I should say from a long time ago)!.!. and now looking at one of their old music videos on youtube ( Gil ( path) is a great inspirational song by the way)!.!. I just wanted to know why they call themselves g!.o!.d obviously it stands for something!.!. and I know that they're not a christian band!.!. soo!.!. any idea!?!?
