Question: My pinky hurts from playing too much piano!.!.!.should I stop or bear the pain!?
Actually it's quite bearable, but my pinky and the little bit of flesh between my pinky and forearm hurts!. I was practicing songs with octaves and chords!. I think the reason might be because I havent played piano too much for a while now, and just started playing a bit more recently!.!.!.!.iunno!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's impossible to answer this without seeing you and determining how you caused this!. Have you mastered playing with weight, weight transference, relaxed (limp) fingers, hands and arms!?

You should never play through pain!. Give your hand a rest!. If it hurts when you go back to play again, give it more rest!. If it lasts more than a couple days see a doctor!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Whenever I hurt my fingers I continue playing but for a shorter duration and not as rigorous!. If on the other hand (no pun son) my finger is really injured I take a day of rest or more!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Suck it up! Take a tylenol, you'll be fine!. You're hands just aren't used to all the stretching!. Maybe look up some finger aerobics!? ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com
