answers, and changes the answer to appear that they "knew" it first

I actually, Rarely see that, but I DO know what you mean!.
The protocol is that when the Person Answers - All updated must follow the Work EDIT - so that the Asker knows!.
The other day I was first to answer, but I knew others were on their way - I could only think of a couple of Bands so I closed!.
Even with a couple of picks - When I submitted, I was already beaten by 3 people LOL!.
So when I went back, I finished my list - but I followed the Rules (which are in Community Guidelines, btw) - and I have this Big Ol' "EDIT" right in the middle of my List LOL
But, you are right - People jump in to be first, then come back and Finish without saying Edit - and sometimes you may not realize that they did that!.
However - The other Answerers know - and WE do not forget LOL

I agree!. Especially if its something like "guess the band" and a person answers wrong at first, then sees the right answer, edits and gets best answer!. total gheyness!. i do a "guess that song" sequal of games and i keep an eye on it constantly to make sure that doesn't happen!. also when I answer, I almost always use "EDIT:" unless me changing the answer is strictly grammatical which I obviously dont care much for, anyway!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i have to admit having cheated like this before, although most times i do remember to put edit when i change something in the answer!.!.!.but it's really annoying when you do know the answer and the other person changes it, so i have to apologize for my misdeeds pastWww@Enter-QA@Com
Feel free to rant away!. I always try to read the question first then look up anything I'm not sure about!. The only time I edit is when I spell something wrong or leave a word out!. Yeah it does suck when people do that!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
That happens to me alot!. One person will answer with either the wrong answer or IDK!. I provide the right answer,next thing I know, mr IDK copies my answer and gets best answer
