It would have no impact other than a divisive and negative impact!. Hip hop heads know about the true art and how it is dying to the love of money!. The majority don't care for the art anymore as long as it sounds catchy!.
You'd hear things like

"I can't dance to this"
"Why didn't they come out with a dance to go with it!?"
"This won't be ringtone material!."
So while hip hop heads will appreciate it !.!.!.!.it will sink below the view of the masses!.
