With respect for other peoples opinions - I want to defend my man Bocephus, several records reached gold status - meaning over 500,000 copies sold!. His music reached a new breed of country fans, everyone does not understand it!. People tend to laugh and poke fun at those things they do not understand!.

*Carrie Underwood - Sounds more like pop/rock - Pure FLUFF
*Rascal Flatts - Because I do not like their songs, they all sound alike
* Big and Rich - They suck!!!! No talent

With no disrespect intended, I'd have to say Hank Williams, Jr!. First of all, he doesn't actually have a very good singing voice!. Second, the songs he has been putting out are terrible!.!.!.All My Rowdy Friends!? Ugh!.!.!.it's the type of stuff that makes people laugh at country music!
I'm getting pretty tired of Kenny Chesney!.!.!.Starting to think that Keith Urban's marriage hasn't been good for his career!. But these two both have the capability of putting out good music, if they can find the right writers!.!.!.meanwhile, I change the station when their current stuff comes on!.
I'm entirely over Reba, but I don't know that I'm ready to say her music should never be on the radio!.!.!.maybe just once a year!. BTW, it may have been seeing her in concert that turned me off!.!.!.she was entirely plastic, and I think I haven't looked at her the same way since then (or maybe it was the tv show)!.!.!.
