hey guys!. i asked this question a few days ago i think and i only got one answer! :( so im just reposting!.
what do you think these lyrics mean!?

I think it means if you never look in towards the future, if you never dream, and if you never look any further than what is in front of your nose, you're wasting your life living a sad life, that its more shameful not to imagine than it its to be a dreamer!.!.!.
The second part I think is saying basically that the person they're singing to is someone of great influence to them, that they cannot forget what a great impact they have had on their life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i agree with the previous poster on the first half and want to also add that staring off in the distance might also mean that living life without trying to discover wider perspectives to understand it, living things as they come, not attributing any meaning to them and forgetting things!.!.!.in other words not having benchmarks to understand where you stand in life as well as how you've been changing and whether you have a purpose(all possibilities, i'm just expanding it) just leads you astray!.
as for the part that follows, i guess he says that people just change as life rolls on and what's left behind stays the same!. so memories are memories but the mind that recollects and interprets them has not stayed the same!. while s/he never forgets the face, what s/he possibly cannot remember is how it felt back then and why!.
