I need help with bass guitar notes?!

Question: I need help with bass guitar notes!?

Answers:
It means F# (F sharp), it one half step from F, which means on the bass, on the E string, its the 2nd fret, if you see something that looks like a 'Fb', that means F flat, thats a half note down, from F, which basicly means E, get some quick piano lessons from a mate or someone in your family, it realy helped me learn bass!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The # mean sharp!. It is a half step higher (one fret) than F!. The b mean flat and is one step lower!. However, there is no Fb!. In between every letter in the musical alphabet there is a sharp or a flat, except in between E-F and B-C!.

also, F# is the same as Gb
G# is the same as Ab
A# is Bb
B# is essentially C and Cb is B
C# is Db
D# is Eb
E# is essentially F and Fb is essentially E

If you look on a piano, the black keys are the sharps and flats!.
You may also note on a piano, two pairs of keys don't have a black key between the (B-C and E-F)

Assuming you're in standard tuning, you're thickest open string would be 'E' (this is your fourth string)
Your first fret would be F, then F#/Gb,G,G#/Ab,A
Your second thickest string (your third string) is A, then A#/Bb on the first fret,B,C,C#/Db,D
D is your second string
G is your first stringWww@Enter-QA@Com

there is no F# but that symbol means sharp which is higher and flat is lower!. the e and f notes are grouped together and the bc notes are grouped together!. so if you started with the top open E string and went down the frets to fret five which is the same note as the next string, a, you would get E, F, G#,A#, A!. basically it's a one note higher than an F, it's an F Sharp!. and say you have Eb that's an E flat which is one note under E!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
