Question: Could Ja Rule have been a better rapper if he had signed with a different label!?
I like his rapping voice, but the choices of songs he was given to rap really made me dislike him!. He should've moved away from the lovey dovey songs trying to sing, and should've stuck to hardcore rapping!. also, being signed to a record label like Murder inc!. doesn't help either!. I think he was caught up in an entanglement of labels and messes!. He didn't have his s$$t together and it showed in his music!. It wasn't one label or the other that did him wrong, it was his choice of music!. Venni Vetti Vecci (1991) went Platinum ~ nice, Rule 3:36 (2000) went 3x Platinum ~ nice, Pain Is Love (2001) went 3x Platinum ~ nice, and then comes The Last Temptation (2002) barely certifies Platinum!. This is when he descends on his downfall!. He went too commercial with his music and changed up his style!. In Oct 2008 he is supposed to put out "The Mirror" which is said to be about his life, there is only one confirmed track "Pushin It feat Robin Thicke!. I think the person to blame for any trouble with Ja Rules career is himself!. Your work is only as good as what you put out!. A producer or manager or label can't make s$$t sound good no matter how mad his skills are!.
