Question: R&P Do you agree with me !?
Sometimes when I listen to songs on the radio, my phone or my Ipod without seeing the visual of it, I like it more!. But when I see the music video of that song I feel as if its not as exciting or enjoyable when I first listened to it without the video!.!.!.!., In my opinion its less enjoyable because of the distractions & stuff!.!.!.As whenever I'm on Y! Answers, most of the time there is a song playing on one of my tabs, I wait for the buffering then play, but I never look back at the video[This is YouTube]!. I'm sure many will have different opinions, anyone agree with me or have anything to say about this !?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, I agree!. I feel that the video tends to take away from the whole experience of the song!.
I know this is kind of a vague and fairly inaccurate comparison, but I feel it's kinda like watching a movie based on a novel, before reading the book!. And I pretty much do what you do, just leave the video playing on one of my tabs and don't look at the video!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know what your saying!. I don't mind seeing music videos but I do like finding the videos on youtube where it's just the picture and the song more!. And also sometimes on music videos there are sounds from the video that aren't in the song!. The first example I can think of is in slayers eyes of the insane video!. There are sounds of bombs and different war sounds!. I like the song without all of those sounds and it just gets kind of annoying!.

I agree completely!. One of the nice things about music is the way you interpret it as your listening to it!. I have a tendency to day dream while listening to a good song!. Even though some videos are good, it does take away the visuals we have for the song that we created in our minds!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I feel a little lucky that I know what life is like without MTV!. 9x outta 10 when someone makes a song recommendation to me & gives me a Youtube link, I listen while browsing elsewhere!.

yeah, when I listen to a song I imagine whatever I want but after I watch the video and later on listen to the song I'll have to think about the video as I'm listening to the song and I'd rather have my own images in my head

Kind of, but I usually know all the songs I listen to, so it makes me think of the video if it has one!. But I'm listening to a band that I saw at Mayhem Fest and really like, so I don't really know the song yet!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
