People hate them because they are popular and they are a Nu Metal band!. Some of these older metalheads can't accept Nu Metal as a genre of metal, which is stupid in my opinion!. I mean, I actually liked the album Iowa!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well, people have, not lilked them for their style of music and their masks for a long time, but I don't know what your talking about, I am liking Slipknot more everyday, and Hating the Jonas Brothers more everyday! (I love their masks, almost creeps me out, but I find them too cool for them to actually creep me out, lol)Www@Enter-QA@Com
i certainly dont hate them, infact quite the opposite! i think the problem is that people dont understand their music or even give it a chance, they cant c past the masks either that or they have no taste!! i also fail to understand Herb up there sayin they appeal 2 a limited few!? they have more fans than most mainstream bands, which can be seen when looking at any footage of them playing!. neways rock on dear, looks like its me and u versus the world in the slipknot debate!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
First off, hated or not, they're no where near the Jonas Sisters!. They're not one of the most respected bands here on R&P, but generally i don't think they're hated!. Personally, i don't dislike them, but i'm not a fan either!. A few of their songs are ok!. I think the masks are just stupid - what's the point!?! Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because they just aren't "AMAZING" as so many think!.!.!. Nowhere near as bad as MCR or Jb mind you, but still not as great as many think!. It might also be because the teenyboppers are catching on!.!.!.!. its seems when ever an older band releases a new album the teenyboppers go crazy and think they now know something about music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
