Well, it really depends on how someone interprets the difference!. (Drop the s, c, r, and a from screamo and you've got emo!)
I believe that 'screamo' and 'emo' are just about the same!. There's very little difference, except for the way a band might dress, sing, preform, etc!. Or the difference could be how the musicians categorize themselves!. 'Screamo' and 'emo' are basically sub-genres of either rock or metal, so they're pretty much in the same boat!.
It's funny that some people took a music genre and turned it into a really bad and sometimes pathetic stereotype!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
