Well that's hard to say I've always been a fan ,we talking from way back 1989 when I picked up their album Mother's Milk, had a great cover of Stevie Wonder's higher ground!. Living in Vancouver BC, Canada was a good place to be an early Peppers fan at a local alternative Club called the Luv'a ffair the Peppers would always play New Year's eve!. Two of their songs really get a good emotional response out of me Give it away , so funky I've gotta to dance when i hear it and Californication i I just love how that song is structured ,haunting and i think it nails what California and Hollywood really means to people that live near it ,in it and because of it!.
So what can really be said about their newer music versus their older music when they still can funk you up to a frenzy or soothe your soul with a sweet ballad!. One thing can be said they are a must to see live!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love all of them, but if I had to choose, I'd say that I like the newer music more because I personally love their last two albums, I mean Stadium Arcadium may be 28 songs long, but it certainly doesn't feel that way since all the songs are very well done!.!.!.plus everyone in the band is getting to show their composition skills, as opposed to the Kiedis/Flea dominated era!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
RHCP kicks butt!.!.!. I do prefer the classic stuff though!. My fave albums are Mothers Milk, Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Freaky Styley!.

that is actually a hard question- the maturity of their newer records vs!. the energy of their older ones!.!.!. i guess i would say older!.!.!. but really i like it all!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Older music! Blood Sugar is where it's at! Stadium Arcadium is just too mellow and radio-friendly, they don't swear anymore, I think they need to start doing drugs again!.
