Of course, everyone of us doesn't like rock/metal the day we are introduced to to music!. Is there a time in your life you hated them so much!? What are your opinions on rock/metal before you got obsessed on them!?

Well, i was brought up on rock bands such as ACDC, Pink Floyd, Metallica, etc!.
Then there was that point in time where i was trying to get interested in rap because that's what everyone i knew listened to at that time, but i really wasn't into it!. Then the one day, this kid introduced me to atreyu and aiden and i thought it was awsome!. Now, i'm into more harder stuff like Emmure and Drop Dead Gorgeous!.
So you can pretty much say i've been listening to rock/metal my whole life!. It just puts me in a good mood :]Www@Enter-QA@Com

Haha,there's actually a very memorable moment in my life of that!.
I was 12,totally clueless all-things rock concerned,in summer camp,and my friend was listening to Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit",a song an older girl back then(around 15)had introduced her to!.She gave me the headphones while the chorus was playing and I was like "GOD,how can Maria listen to this incomprehensible noise!?"!.
LOL,2 years later I was a massive black metal fan!.Needless to say my taste has changed/evolved a lot since then(I'm 19 now)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well I only liked softer Rock that sounded like The Verve and U2 but then I heard Godsmack's "I Stand Alone" because it was an extra feature on the VHS and sprawled to Disturbed, and Drowning Pool but, then I got bored with radio bands and as usual I was young and stupid and got hooked on even worse bands like MCR and Good Charlotte!. Then I got bored with them and went back in time musically to find Motley Crue,Led Zep and The Who!. also I'm in love with Apocalyptica and I'm trying out other Finland bands which I might add are AMAZING!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I was always intrigued by metal!.!.of course i didn't get into the death growls right away and thought that was over the top!. I thought that is crazy, can't understand what they are saying and they are just playing way to fast!. I suppose my ear got used to the distortion/speed and realized they were playing good riffs and solos and the vocals were part of the sound!.
I guess bands like metallica initially got me into it and I gradually started to listen to more extreme music!. I just experimented with other metal bands and thats how I got more into it

hmmmmmmm actually I didn't know what true rock was!.!.!.!.!.back when I was in elementary school I loved Hilary Duff!.!.!.!.!.and in 7th grade I loved The Fray!.!.!.!.and then I finally discovered RHCP (who I hated before) and they quickly became my favorite band and then I got into grunge and other subgenres of rock!.!.!.!.!.!.lolWww@Enter-QA@Com
My mom and dad told me it was the devil's music and it was too loud and i was going to hell!.
And they told me that i wasn't even puerto rican anymore if i started listening to it lol

Well I grew up listening to country, but then I got influenced by my older brother into rock and metal, at first I thought metal was a bit too heavy and I thought it was all about the devil but then as I got into it I realized it's the best ever I guess I had negative thoughts before because of all the images but when I took the time to actually listen, it blew me away ----\m/ Www@Enter-QA@Com
Well I can't remember a time in my life that I didn't listen to Rock!.

I thought rock was pretty good!.
I never really heard much about metal until i became a fan of it!. It happened very fast !.!.
But i was NEVER a fan of screaming/growling, and now that's mostly all that i listen to!. I thought it was crazy and messed up!. Just shows how much someone can change !.!. :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

At first I thought all rock was bad and sounded the same!. And I couldn't differentiate between rock and pop!. Then I started listening to the Beatles and from there I got into all sorts of other rock music!. Now rock is basically the thing I care about most!. I've come a long way!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I never really paid much attention to it!. I used to just listen to whatever was on the radio!. Then my bestfriend told me I should listen to "Pump" by Aerosmith and "Pyromania" by Def Leppard, and my opinion changed for a lifetime!. I love rock 'n' roll!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Rock was the first kind of music I was introduced to, and I liked it right away!. Before I got into metal, I had simply never heard it before and had no opinion on it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
