Question: Wanting to start a band!? advertising!.!.!.!?
Me and my mate are looking to start a band!. im just looking for ideas so we can get the word out for auditioning ppl to join our band!.!.
Im going to ask my boss if we can put up a flyer or something outside my work!.
and notice boards!.
any other ideas!? maybe websites or something!?

Put posters up everywhere you can!. Try your local mall, places near schools or colleges!. This way you'll get a wide range of people looking!. Make a Myspace or bebo group, and tell your friends to spread the word!.
Other than advertising, go to local gigs and music festivals, where you'll mingle with other musicians, maybe you'll meet someone useful! Even if not, other young bands are a help to you anyway - talk to as many people as you can, tell them about your band!. They might have advice, or maybe know someone of interest!. Be sure you ask about other events, because the more you can get to the better!.

Forums of bands which are your influences; this way, you attract people who would like to play the same styles as you, and also people who you'd have music in common with!. Going to gigs and spreading the word there is also a good idea!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
