No disrespect to Pac but personally I don't know if I would have him in my top 30, everything he said was straightforward and he never made you have to hit the rewind button because you always knew exactly what he was saying the first time you heard whatever song you were listening to!. His claim to being a great MC comes from the impact and the influence he had on Hip Hop, and nothing more!.!.!. Does anyone agree with this!? Why or why not!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'LL PROBLY GO EVEN LOWER THAN 30!. I know Im a get da thumbs down by all his stans but da reality is 2Pac was really just an average lyricist at best!.!.!. Da reason he is considered great is cuz of his SUBJECT MATTER 4 da most part, nuthin positive can be said of HOW DO YOU WANT IT as well as any of his many POP songs, and da influence he had on other MCs and da rap game as a whole!. Like you said, there was little complexity 2 his lyrics, I understood perfectly wut he was sayin from da 1st time I listened 2 any of his songs!. He never really makes me think, and I'm sure all da Real Hip Hop Heads wud agree!. Any1 who says he is da best lyricist in Hip Hop just doesnt know!. They havent heard da more cerebral MCs who r mostly all from da East Coast, West Coast tends 2 put less emphasis on lyrics cuz its MOSTLY just gangsta rap(I know theres other genres as well u aint gotta tell me)!. Rakim, Nas, Big Daddy Kane, Biggie, a young Jay Z, Kool G Rap, Chuck D, GZA and many others r perfect examples of MCs wit complex lyrics wit multi-syllabic and internal rhymes, as well as heavy metaphors and other crazy techniques that really requires thinking!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I find that a lot of people who rank Tupac very high usually have a limited knowledge of rap history!. Not saying that is always the case, but my experience has been that they don't or can't consider any rappers from the eighties at all; or a lot of underground lyricists!.
But his influence in hip hop culture was huge not only cause of his lyrics but also his lifestyle!. Not to mention somehow his music reached a big crossover demographic too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
