Question: Does the solo in "Stairway to Heaven" have a true 70's touch to it!? For me, this is the only solo that does!?
The solo of this song is the most unique sound; it sounds like the genuine sound from the 70's!. Even though there are songs with longer solos, this solo is the best in the world (at least for me)!. I was not born in the 70's, but i can totally relate to this song and solo!. When i listen to this solo, it takes me back to the '70's!. LZ is the only band for me that represents the 70's culture!. This solo to me shows a vivid picture of the culture of the '70's!. The solo sounds even better played slower!. I will not lie, I have listened to this solo for at least 50 times consecutive!. And still cant get enough for it!. I am a guitar player, and LZ (and this solo especially) got me addicted to guitars!. Their sound is so raw, amazing fulfilling!.

Gotta love this solo!. This solo is incredible, but what leads up to it is what makes it so great!. think about it!. The part of the song right before the solo almost completely lifts the mood and the intensity to an incredible level!. Personally this is how i see it!. From beginning to the beginning of the solo its almost as if the whole song is a dream and then when the solo kicks in and the hard riffs afterwards happen its almost like they bring you back down to earth and wake you up from this "dream"Www@Enter-QA@Com
If you like 70s type stuff, you will LOVE Graveyard!. They sound as though they popped out of the 70s, but their first album came out last year!

I really haven't heard much from the 70s (Van Halen excluded, but they might count as 80s), but you are right!. When someone says 70s, the sound that automatically comes into my head is Led Zeppelin-esque!. They just seem to be the definiton of the era!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
