yes it does. another way that it works is get a small box that has a tight seal. Spray some of the perfume on a towel and put that in the center of the box and then align the paper and envelopes around the towel and the scent will stick to the paper. i do that with really pretty smelling candles and it sticks to the paper with out staining it.
