for example, my soon to be 5 yr old neice always cry after taking a nap. i'm almost 17 and i don't cry after taking a nap. i drink water.

My pediatrician says that means they didn't get enough sleep during their nap. My kids (3 of them) do the same thing, and I'll let them go back to sleep most of the time. With growth spurts and their sleep requirements being so huge, I let them sleep. One of my boys is a huge sleeper, big eater and a happy camper. So if he cries I let him sleep.
