they still make them, however nobody seems to want them and they are not popular., but I guess people just want what they are used to. If you didn't know the u.s. mint is also making a series of dollar coins with presidents on them in the order they took office, much like state quarters. So many people don't even know about this.

but anyway, what do you think of half dollars, should they bring them back, I think it's the size of the coin that's making people not care for them.

I don't know, I just think they're cool and it's annoying to have a bunch of quarters

they still are legal currency so we can use them to buy things but credit cards much easier, and some stores won't even take them

No. I don't think they should because like you said most Americans don't like new coins. I don't think I would enjoy carrying around a huge half dollar when I could just carry around a couple quarters or something.
