One of the girls who works for me on the cruise ships as a dancer was asked by a guest:
"Oh you are from England, what language do y'all speak in England!?"
For real - no joke. She honestly asked that!!!!!!!
Is that not the DUMBEST thing you have ever heard!

That is pretty stupid.
When i went on a cruise i witnessed some of the crew that were from foreign places being asked some pretty dumb if not ignorant questions. For instance, there was an indian chef and he mingled w/ people after dinner and a lady asked him how long it took him to cook anything but rice and curry.
