My dreams of wedded bliss were more realistic. Nicholas Z. was supposed to marry me. He lived in my town, attended school with me, was easy on the eyes and extremely popular. Of course he had no idea who I was.... that is until Faahud decided to point out (in front of my entire sixth grade social studies class!) that I'd make a great "map of the flat lands" . The only eye contact I'd ever have with Nicholas was right at that moment. My dreams of wedded bliss were shattered into tiny pieces when I saw him laughing and pointing at my non-existent chest. *sigh* Maybe I shoulda tried for Erin Gray too.
