Does america treat its war vets poorer than other nations?

i dont know about other countries, like fifty says, but here they are treated abominably, sadly taking their lead from part of their very own government. my father served in two wars was spit on for serving his country by ungrateful hippies in the 70s. they have grown up or spawned offspring with even less respect and they are doing the same to our brave young men and women serving today. they even show up to protest them at their own funeral amidst weeping mothers and fathers and children. here in america we have the greatest people in the world but, we also seem to have the lowest of the low.
