I miss him!
Answers:
He got deported back to Latvia which for some strange reason is nowhere near his original home country. I tried to get an immigration lawyer to intervene for him, but they gave the runaround to me until it was time for his hearing.
The sad look in his eyes as they lead him away was a real tear jerker. He did vow to be back though and was busily clicking his heels saying "there is no place like home!" as they lead him away.
