I needed to transfer a title of a truck I got from my dad into my name. He had the truck for 4 years, and never titled it in his name. The previous owners had both died.
I Spent 4 hours waiting in the queue. You have to wait in line about an hour to get a number to be in the queue.
Then was told, I had to get statements from the executor of the will that the vehicle was legally sold from the estate.
Took about 3 weeks to get the info, and went back. A little longer wait this time. Was then told, They wouldnt issue a title in Nevada, because this was a Utah title.
I then had to drive from Vegas to St George, Utah, and get the title transferred into my name. Luckily, was a small DMV, and I only had to wait 45 min.
Wait 3 weeks for the Utah title with my name on it, went back to the DMV, after yet another 5 hours, finally got it titled and licensed... Man, if I only got paid for that time.
