What Did You Think Of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows??? 1-10?

I thought it was barely the best book (followed by the 5th one). I loved the beginning and end. That boring 100 pages in the middle of the book killed me though. What do you think? I give this book a 9.5

I felt like the book started at 100 mph and just - stopped. For about 100 pages, as you said.

One of the things that I noted while reading book 7 is that it's not really a kid's book. Perhaps middle teens, but when I watch news reports with all these 7-year-olds lined up to get their book, I wonder how well they follow it. The verbiage used in the book isn't really complimentary for a young audience. It's not obscene, but she uses language which her younger readers may not understand.

I thought the book was fantastic. But I wonder - what was with the little kid in chapter 35? Was that suppose to symbolize Voldemort?

I'll give the book a 7 based upon the fact that when I closed it I couldn't figure out for a day or two if I had truly enjoyed the ending or not.
