I work with a smelly guy. Help.?
He is mentally challenged so there's one reason I don't know how to approach this. Yes management knows because one day this guy crapped his pants really badly and they had to buy him new pants (we work in retail). They couldn't send him home b/c he doesn't drive--and when he went to the restroom to clean up he got crap everywhere. Lately he has this really raw stank to him and yesterday I gagged when he was next to me. I am NOT mean to this dude, but come on..it isn't fair to have to work next to someone who makes you gag! I don't know what to do.

I worked at a retail store with a mentally challenged person also....
There was a person (kind of like a case worker or care taker) that drove him to the store and sometimes stayed to observe how he was doing at the jobs we assigned him to.
If you see this person for your worker,pull them aside and let them in on the workers need for help with his Hygiene.... That its really bad and hard to work next to him at times.
