Why is it ok for all other races to talk about white people but if we respond were racists?

well, i agree with u, i am the only white girl in my group of friends, i don't have a problem with that cause i love bein friends with different races, religions and point of views. but, since i am the only white color, i do hear many negative comments (they might not even talk about me but, other white people) most of my friends seem to think most white people are racist or when they get pissed at a white person they will say, oh i hate white people and then they tell me oh don't worry u aren't white, u don't act like it. if i say somethin like omg i luv fried chicken (cause i do), some of my friends will be like, what are u tryin stay about balck people, huh huh and i am like nothin, i said i like fried chicken.

i got so use to this, its like i started to hate my own kind (white people) and i started sayin stuff like oh like at that white gurl or other things like that, i look back on it and its sad that i even let myself get to that point. there are many mean and racist white people (who are usually rich) but, i know to be racist, u can be any race, asian, latin, african american, middle-eastern, it doesn't matter. i hate anyone who is racist and i started to talk to my friends and told them not all white people are racist and watch what u say around me cause i am white and its still my race. they use to make jokes about white people all the time and laugh (i laughed but, on the inside it hurt) but, i know if a white person were to make a JOKE latins and african americans would get pissed off and call it racist. i think any jokes made about race and/or religion is wrong and NOT funny. but, i still don't have any white friends that i hang out or even talk to on a regular base with and i am totally find with it.
