Ok here's how I see it. (which could be totally different..... but I guess it is still how I kinda see it.)
See being "cool" isn't something you strive for. I think the mistake is that people "try" to be cool and by trying..... well they just blew the whole concept right there. The few people I know that I think are just soooo freaking majorly cool are the ones that are so natural..... just so real and oblvious to how neat they are..... that that is what makes them..... "cool."
I'm not sure who defined "cool" and what all people think "cool" is. But if it means that someone thinks much more of themselves than those around them...... if they are putting themselves first because the ego is their driving force..... well yeah.... THEN being cool..... is overrated. I see someone like that and I don't think twice.... I just turn away.
But that guy...... that amazing guy standing in the corner at the party not needing to be the center of attention that chimes in with an amazing observation that is sooo uniquely different from everyone else's...... this guy...... is cool. :)
