You went to give plasma for the first time today to get $50, and after doing the physical and the paperwork you sat in the lobby watching the corniest old movies for 3 HOURS!!!!

And after waiting you finally went into the donor room (pissed and thinking "I'll get $50 for wasting three hours, it's worth it.") just to find out that the person who's going to be sticking you is the meanest b***h ever. When she sticks you a horrible pain shoots up your arm and she says "Hmm, you tensed up. The needle almost poked up through your skin and I'm not getting any blood."

And while you're trying to hold back tears she keeps aksing if you're alright and what you want to do. Without waiting for an answer she starts bandaging you up saying, "This just isn't your thing," and sends you home with only $5 to pay for your wasted time and anguish!!!!!!!

id be a little pissed off yes. i cant donate blood because of a couple of those weird rules they have, and i dont know if i can donate plasma, but i have heard horror stories from my friends about nurses who miss veins, a LOOOONNNGGG time in the waiting room, and other crap. so i still know how you feel. ive been in similar situations with a lot of waiting then not the results you expected, and they do tend to suck.

it was really rude of the woman not to at least wait for YOUR answer before she started sending you on yoru way.
