Answers:

Yes I do Daisy,
The saddest thing is we just lost a few good man right here in our town. One Of the soldiers had only saw his newborn 4XS,
and now his brother is gone missing. Right after his brother's funeral. I hope they find as he was pretty depressed after losing his brother. My heart goes out to this family as much as all the other good men & women serving on behalf of all our countries.

Mom appeals for information on missing son
Jul 24 2007
The mother of missing Abbotsford man Beric Bason, who disappeared over the weekend near Clinton in the B.C. Interior, has made an appeal for information about her son.

Beric Bason, disappeared over the weekend from the Loon Lake Resort, where he had just started a week-long fishing trip with a friend.

Bason's disappearance comes one week after the family buried his older brother, Master Cpl. Colin Bason who was killed in Afghanistan in a roadside bomb on July 4.

Bason's mother Ann said she didn't expect to hear from her youngest and only other child since he was on vacation.

"We don't know what to think at this time," said Ann. "We're under a lot of stress."

Clinton RCMP Cpl. Pete Bes said Bason, a welder, had been drinking heavily at the Loon Lake Resort before he wandered down the road toward the highway at 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police and search teams spent Monday scouring the area around Loon Lake, looking for any sign of Bason, who disappeared Sunday morning. The search was resumed Tuesday.

Police are continuing to follow leads from possible sightings of Bason in the area.

A police boat was brought into the lake to conduct further checks of the shoreline.

Other avenues of search are being discussed including the "E" Division Dive Team and more air support.
Ann urged anyone who may have seen her youngest son or given him a lift to call Clinton RCMP.
"We just want him to come home," she said, urging her son to, "Phone us collect and let us know he's safe."
Bason has no plans to go up to Clinton BC.
"We're giving police a chance to do their work," she said.
Bason is 5 feet 11 inches tall and is described as thin, weighing between 140 and 160 pounds.
He has short brown hair and, when last seen, was wearing jeans, white runners and a jacket, possibly blue.
Bason has no contacts in the area and left his cell phone behind in the cabin, said Bes.
Anyone with any information about Bason's whereabouts is asked to call Clinton RCMP at 1-250-459-2221.
